NSZL’s Library of Book History, Library and Information cordially invites you and your friends to the presentation ceremony of a book by Zoltán Szűts entitled Online – Az internetes kommunikáció és média története, elmélete és jelenségei (Online – History, theory and phenomena of internet communication and media). The book was published as part of the media science series of Wolters Kluwer.

The presentation ceremony will be opened and welcome speech will be held by Head of Department Eszter Fazokas.

The book will be presented by

  • Zsuzsanna Tószegi, honorary associate professor, Eötvös Loránd University
  • László Z. Karvalics, associate professor, University of Szeged.

About the author

Zoltán Szűcs was born in 1976 in Nagybecskerek, currently he lives in Budapest. His wife is literary historian Rita Szűts-Novák. He is a media researcher, associate professor at the Budapest University of Technology and Economics, and also head of the Applied Infocommunications Research Group of Milton Friedman University. His research area includes internet communications and media, hypertextuality, the art of new media, information society, digital culture and pedagogy. Zoltán Szűts is the author of A világháló metaforái (Metaphors of the World Wide Web) (Osiris Publishing House, Budapest, 2013) and of Online – Az internetes kommunikáció és média története, elmélete és jelenségei (Online – History, theory and phenomena of internet communication and media) (Wolters Kluwer, Budapest, 2018).
