Entitled “Memories of my life”, an exhibition presenting the career of Karl Goldmark (1830–1915) will be opened in the Music Collection of National Széchényi Library on December 8, 2015, at 3 p.m., to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the composer’s death. The exhibition will also commemorate one-time head of NSZL’s Music Collection Dr. István Kecskeméti (1920–1999) who had personally been involved in processing Karl Goldmark’s bequest and who, on the basis of the original manuscript, translated into Hungarian and published the composer's memoirs in 1980.

The exhibition can be visited until March 5, 2016, during the opening hours of the Music Collection (Tuesday to Friday: between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m.; on Saturday: between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.).
