“Twenty Years Later” – Hungarological conference in Zagreb

The Department of Hungarological Studies at the University of Zagreb, Croatia will hold a two-day conference on March 19 and 20, 2015, to celebrate the 20th anniversary of its foundation.

One of the major tasks of National Széchényi Library is to collect, process as well as to register documents which can be regarded as hungarica. As partners of NSZL, Hungarological workshops, university departments and research institutes beyond the borders of Hungary have been taking an active part in this work for decades now.

Our colleague, Jolán Mann has been working as a visiting professor at the Department of Hungarological Studies at the University of Zagreb. She has made valuable research on the Hungarian aspects of the heritage of Croatian writer Miroslav Krleža and, in that capacity, she will also hold a lecture at the conference in Zagreb.
