Opening ceremony – The Corvina Library and the Buda Workshop

Following almost two years of preparatory work, the exhibition entitled The Corvina Library and the Buda Workshop opened on November 5, 2018. The exhibition will be open for three months; at the same time a completely renewed internet service entitled Bibliotheca Corvina Virtualis was also launched.

At the opening ceremony, Director-General of NSZL László Tüske greeted the guests. Following a ceremonial speech delivered by Minister of Human Resources Miklós Kasler, literary historian László Szörényi opened the exhibition.

After a speech delivered by curator Edina Zsupán (HAS-NSZL Res Libraria Hungariae Research Group) on the concept of the exhibition, Annamária Sudár, Head of the Department of Web Content Coordination presented the completely renewed corvina website.

Contributing to the exhibition was István Csörsz Rumen.

Guests were invited to a guided tour of the exhibition led by curator Edina Zsupán and Director of Special Collections Ferenc Földesi.
