Partial closure, changes in Library services

2019. június 18-tól július 20-ig a különgyűjteményi olvasótermek – kivéve a Térképtár és a Plakát- és Kisnyomtatványtár olvasótermeit – a szokásos nyitvatartási rendjükben, azaz keddtől péntekig 9 és 17 óra, szombaton 9 és 14 óra között tartanak nyitva.

 

Hereby we would like to inform our Readers that there will be the following changes in the services of National Széchényi Library in the coming months:

  • As of June 18, 2019, the reading rooms on Floor 7 will be closed. In case of items belonging to the General Collection of NSZL (books and periodicals), there will be no repository service. Online services of the Library of Book History, Library and Information will continuously be available, and interlibrary loan requests will also be received and managed.
  • As of June 19, the Map Collection and the Collection of Posters and Small Prints will not receive readers, due to noise load resulting from elevator construction work related to the building of National Széchényi Library. You will continuously be informed about changes related to construction work.
  • From June 18 until July 20, 2019, reading rooms of the Special Collections – with the exception of the reading rooms of the Map Collection and the Collection of Posters and Small Prints – will be open as usual, i.e. Tuesday to Friday between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m., Saturday between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. Readers in the reading rooms of NSZL’s Special Collections will be able to use only the items and databases belonging to the Special Collections.
  • Opening hours of the building will be the same as those of the reading rooms of our Special Collections.
  • From June 18 until July 20, 2019, registration of Library readers will take place Tuesday to Friday between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m., Saturday between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m.
  • The Book and Souvenir Shop of NSZL will be open to visitors Tuesday to Saturday between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Lunch break: 13.00–13.30.
  • From June 18 until July 20, 2019, for interlibrary loan services and locating library resources our readers and customers will be received in Room 320/b from Monday to Thursday between 9.00 and 16.00, on Friday between 9.00 and 13.00.

  • Orders concerning copy making and Birthday Package services will be accepted until July 1, 2019; new orders will be accepted as of September 2, 2019 the earliest.
