St. Martin's legacy – conference

On April 14 and 15, a scientific conference entitled Martinus pauper et dives – St. Martin’s legacy will be held in Budapest and Pannonhalma. Several research fellows of National Széchényi Library will participate in the event.

László Boka, Director of Research and Academic Affairs and Ilona Ásványi, Deputy Director of the Library of Pannonhalma Archabbey will open the Ernst Codex (NSZL, Cod. Lat. 431) exhibition. Edit Madas, researcher of HAS-NSZL Res Libraria Hungariae Research Group, as one of scientific counselors of the conference, will deliver a lecture entitled St. Martin in Hungarian Medieval Legend and Sermon Literature.
