János Arany exhibition in NSZL – opening ceremony

Related to the event series János Arany Memorial Year 2017, a János Arany exhibition entitled “Others get laurel only by leaves…” – Treasures, cult, impact history will be opened in National Széchényi Library at 11 a.m. on April 28, 2017.

The exhibition will be opened by Dr. János Áder, President of the Republic of Hungary.

The interactive exhibition, set up in the National Relic and Manuscriptorium exhibition spaces, will be accompanied by book presentations, podium discussions, special guided tours and irregular lessons in Hungarian literature throughout the memorial year. The exhibition will be open until November 25, 2017.

Opening ceremony of the interactive exhibition held in the National Relic and Manuscriptorium exhibition spaces of NSZL will start at 11 a.m. on April 28, 2017.

Program:

11.00 Welcome speech by Director-General László Tüske
11.10. Opening speech delivered by President of the Republic János Áder
11.25 Performance given by Kossuth and Ferenc Liszt Award winner violinist Barnabás Kelemen and Gáspár Kelemen, as well as performer Annamária Sudár
11.50 Tour of the exhibition guided by literary historian Zsuzsanna Rózsafalvi
12.30 Closing of the event
