Petőfi Literary Museum organizes a conference entitled Management of born digital “manuscripts”. The problem of the management of born digital “manuscripts” by museums is one of the most exciting and, at the same time, the most pressing issues of contemporary museum practices. On the first day of the session (on March 29), an attempt will be made to survey the Hungarian situation and to sum up problems, involving directors and experts of major public collections. On the second day of the session (on March 30), a practice-oriented workshop will be held with the participation of international guest speakers.

Two of our Library colleagues, Ferenc Földesi, Director of Special Collections and István Moldován, Head of the Department of Electronic Library Services will also deliver a lecture at the conference.

Date: March 29-30, 2017
Venue: Petőfi Literary Museum 16 Károlyi Street, H-1053 Budapest
