In cooperation with other libraries, the Hungarian national library is currently working on the renewal of its entire IT infrastructure and library system. NSZL makes an effort to get acquainted with the latest international trends and the already existing best practices.

As part of the renewal process, we have held several presentations in National Széchényi Library. These presentations have been recorded and published in Videotorium  – on topics such as integrated library systems, digitization and web archiving.

The next occasion will be on Monday June 25, 2018, from 1 p.m. until 5 p.m., when software and service provider Arkivum will hold a software presentation in the Ceremonial Hall of NSZL.

To whom do we recommend the event?

This event is for library and archives leaders across Europe who are interested in furthering their organizations’ understanding of how to address the need for secure, accessible data archives. The session will present decision-makers the model to enhance their service to users, guarantee regulatory compliance, safeguard their precious digital collections and ensure their protection for future generations.

This workshop is focused on Arkivum, a market leading digital preservation and data archiving partner working in direct collaboration with EBSCO.
