The third volume of National Széchényi Library’s Supplementum Corvinianum series has been published: Corvina Augusta. King Matthias’s Manuscripts in the Herzog August Bibliothek, Wolfenbüttel, Ed. by Edina Zsupán with the cooperation of Christian Heitzmann (Supplementum Corvinianum III), Budapest, National Széchényi Library, 2014. (Corvina Augusta. Die Handschriften des Königs Matthias Corvinus in der Herzog August Bibliothek Wolfenbüttel, hrsg. von Edina Zsupán unter Mitarbeit von Christian Heitzmann (Supplementum Corvinianum III), Budapest, OSZK, 2014.)

The English- and German-language catalogue and volume of studies describe the nine corvinas kept in the Herzog August Bibliothek in Wolfenbüttel with a codicological description more detailed than any previous descriptions. The studies, written by an international team of authors, deal with the most exciting issues related to this group of codices. The elegant style and rich imagery make this piece a really exclusive album.

The volume will be presented on April 28, 2015, at 5 p.m. in National Széchényi Library.

Guest of honor at the meeting will be Edit Madas.
Talks will be held by the authors: Regina Cermann, Edina Zsupán, Árpád Mikó and Endre Zsoldos.
