Dismantling of the tower crane in the Lions’ Court

Dear Readers!

The disassembly of the tower crane used for the renovation of the Budapest History Museum started on Thursday morning, June 17, 2021. The work is expected to be completed on Saturday, June 19.

The dismantling will be carried out from the Lions' Court, therefore the Lions' Court will have to be completely evacuated for the period of the crane dismantling. No vehicles or materials will be allowed in the yard from the evening of Wednesday (June 16) until the demolition is complete. 

The main entrances to the NSZL and the Budapest History Museum can only be accessed on foot through the fenced-off area during the entire demolition period.
