EU database of out of commerce works launched with Hungarian data

Thanks to the cooperation between the NSZL and the European Union Intellectual Property Office, the database Out of Commerce Works [1], developed and operated by the EU organization could be launched with Hungarian data. The portal could play an important role in making digitised documents subject to copyright protection accessible in the future. The new regime for the use of out of commerce works by cultural heritage institutions is provided in Chapter IV/B of our Copyright Act [2].
