The first printing workshop of Nagyvárad was opened 450 years ago. To commemorate this occasion, an illustrated album on printing history, presenting rare treasures, was published recently. The volume featuring the eventful history, life and culture of Nagyvárad will be presented in NSZL on March 7, 2017.
[1]National Széchényi Library and Argumentum Publishing House cordially invite you to the presentation ceremony of Tipográfia régtől fogva. A nagyváradi nyomdászat 450 éves története (Typography Since Olden Times. 450 years of Nagyvárad typography [2]), a book jointly published by them.
Guests will be greeted by András Láng, Director of Argumentum Publishing House.
Participants of the round-table discussion will be:

- Melinda Simon, historian of typography, Assistant Professor (University of Szeged)
- Tiborc Szabolcs Pénzes, literary historian, Assistant Professor (Károli Gáspár University of the Reformed Church in Hungary)
