The bookshop located at the main entrance of National Széchényi Library, which is also a tourist Infopoint, is open to visitors Tuesday to Friday, from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m.

The shop has a double profile: on the one hand, it sells publications published by NSZL, exhibition souvenirs and books offered by consignment partners, and on the other hand, due to its prominent tourist position, it also serves as an official Infopoint of Budapest.
Free publications and program brochures are offered to Hungarian and foreign tourists here. Services related to Budapest InfoPoint and purchasing Budapest Card will be available again from September 1, 2020.
Staff at our information desk is ready to provide you with information on Budapest, on current cultural programs and attractions, and they also offer tourists publications published by Budapest Festival and Tourism Centre and materials taken over from other tourist service providers.

The bookshop also sells 24-, 48-, 72- and 96-hour Budapest cards. Budapest Card is the official city card of the Hungarian capital.
