Registering for a Reader Pass  

  • Tuesday – Friday: 10.00 – 16.30

General Reading Rooms
Currently, the General Reading Room and the Microfilm Reading Room can be visited.

  • Tuesday – Friday: 10.00 – 17.00
  • Repository requests can be submitted Tuesday–Friday 10.00– 16.00

Special Collections Reading Rooms
Reading rooms of the Special Collections have been reopened to readers as of July 14, 2020, in compliance with the epidemiological rules due to the coronavirus situation.

Our readers can do research work in our reading rooms only follwing prior place and date reservation. Without place and date reservation, our special collections reading rooms cannot be visited.

Opening hours: Tuesday to Thursday, from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m.

Library of Book History, Library and Information Science
We are waiting for our readers with shortened opening hours according to the following:

Bookshop – Infopoint

  • Tuesday – Friday: 10.00 – 17.00

Buffet:

  • Tuesday – Thursday: 8.00-17.00
  • Friday: 8.00-16.00

Opening hours of the Express Elevator:

  • Mon: 6.00–19.00
  • Tuesday to Saturday: 6.00–20.30
  • Sunday: 9.00–18.30
