National Széchényi Library, a center of international and Hungarian Corvina research, launched its Supplementum Corvinianum series in 2017 with the purpose of making it the main channel and forum of the most recent results. This decision is explained by the fact that the character of Corvina research requires a variety of aspects, and therefore a coordinated cooperation of the Hungarian and international researchers is needed.

The international conference A Home of Arts and Muses. The Library of King Matthias Corvinus took place in this spirit on 9 October 2015 in the Hungarian pavilion of the Milan Expo. The present volume, the fourth in the Supplementum Corvinianum series and edited by Edina Zsupán, contains the extended and edited version of the papers of this comprehensive and successful conference. The works of Italian and Hungarian Corvina experts, written in English and Italian, are accompanied by an exquisite selection of images.
