Babits conference in Petőfi Literary Museum

Organized by Magyar Irodalomtörténeti Társaság (Hungarian Society for Literary History), Department of Modern Hungarian Literature, Eötvös Loránd University, and Babits Research Group of Pázmány Péter Catholic University, a conference entitled Lyrical Oeuvre of Mihály Babits will be held in Petőfi Literary Museum on November 24 and 25, 2016. Two researchers of National Széchényi Library, László Boka, Director of Research and Academic Affairs and Beatrix Visy, staff member of the Directorate of Research and Academic Affairs will deliver a lecture at the conference. The title of László Boka’s lecture is “Black Birds. The Reclusive Babits”, while Beatrix Visy’s lecture is entitled “Fly Apart, Painful Words” – Notions of Speaking Out and Silence in the Poetry of Mihály Babits.

The language of the conference will be Hungarian.
