Judit Gerencsér, Deputy Director General, and Zoltán Lewalt-Jezierski, Head of Cabinet, welcomed the German group led by Barbara Lison, former President of the International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions (IFLA).

The Friends of the Bremen City Library were shown around the building and the history of the NSZL, and listened to a short presentation in the Early Printed Book Collection on some of the institution's special documents of museal value and German relevance. The professional programme was rounded off with a theoretical and practical presentation on the national library's digitisation activities in our digitisation centre.
