Two staff members of National Széchényi Library will deliver a lecture at the 16th Buda Castle Book Festival to be held from August 31 until September 2, 2018. One of them will present a map historical work, while the other will discuss Lajos Thallóczy’s correspondence.

During the Book Festival, visitors will have an opportunity to listen to further lectures in Hungarian; all they have to do is to present their festival armband.

Exhibition: On August 31 and September 1, our exhibition entitled Changing Spaces. The Danube region on historical maps 1650-1800 will be open to visitors during the opening hours (National Széchényi Library, Ars Librorum exhibition space).

On August 31 and September 1, the exhibition and the programs can be visited free of charge, by simply wearing the festival armband.
