You can learn the characteristic dances of eight regions of Hungary from the comfort of your home with the help of National Széchényi Library. Teaching of the dances will start at 7 p.m. on Fridays, and it will be presented by members of the most outstanding children's ensembles, the winners of the Szarvas Children's Solo Dance Festival.

The children’s folk dance education film series entitled Dance with us! was made in National Széchényi Library between 1998 and 2008. The educational series was launched on the initiation of the György Martin Folk Dance Association and the Heritage Folklore Association, and it has been compiled by the Foundation for the Promotion of the Hungarian Moving Picture Treasure operating within the Collection of Historical Interviews, NSZL. Dances will be illustrated by the films stored in the Folk Dance Research Archive of the HAS Research Centre for the Humanities, Institute for Musicology. The films will be available on the YouTube channel of National Széchényi Library, every Friday afternoon, starting on Friday March 27, 2020.
