From now on, two new publications, important from the point of view of library history and library science, can be accessed in the Electronic Periodicals Archive & Database (EPA).

Könyvtári Szemle (Library Review) is a periodical published between 1934 and 1935. Only 24 issues were published but the articles and releases included in them dealt with important topics such as librarian training in Hungary, foundation of librarian and archivist associations, bibliographic aspects, etc. Among the authors, we can find Miklós Asztalos, József Fitz, Sándor Kozocsa and Gyula Ortutay.

Könyvtári Figyelő (Library Observer) was launched in 1955, and its content from 1990 until present has been available in the collection of EPA since 2004. Initiated by the Hungarian Library Institute/Library of Book History, Library and Information, issues published between 1955 and 1989 have continuously been digitized since January 2016. Consequently, the content of almost the entire Könyvtári Figyelő is available in digital format, too.
