COMICS AS NARRATIVE: The Ninth Art and its Icons in Hungary

A gap-filling and fresh selection from the history of Hungarian comics: from the works of Mór Jókai and Ferenc Herczeg through the golden age of Hungarian comics consisting of the adaptation of literary classics, it gives an insight into the works of more than thirty contemporary Hungarian artists, and the accompanying studies in Hungarian and English give an account of the phases of the development of comics in Hungary.
