Until October 31, 2021, two Oxford University Press databases, Oxford Handbooks Online and Oxford (Grove) Art Online, will be made available remotely by our library. We provide remote access to our registered readers as follows: click on “Sign in via your Institution”, then under “Select your Institution” choose the National Széchenyi Library Select from the list, then enter your reader pass number (username) and password (date of birth).

A free outdoor exhibition of Géza Faragó’s (1877–1928) posters kept in our collection opened in Budapest under the title What the Street Tells.

On February 5, 2021, the Information Technology Division of the library will perform network and server maintenance and installation tasks in the server room. Work will begin at 6 p.m. After 8 p.m., you may experience intermittent outages affecting all systems and services. 

The services are expected to be restored no later than Saturday 8 a.m.
