We are awaiting the return of our readers with the lifting of visiting restrictions and reader pass renewal

We are pleased to inform our readers that according to the Government Decree 365/2021 (VI. 30.) our institution can be visited again without any restrictions on number of visitors and the immunity certificate. To compensate for the ‘library-free’ months, the validity of annual reader passes purchased previously in 2020–2021 will be extended by six months, and the validity of six-month reader passes by three months, free of charge.

Dismantling of the tower crane in the Lions’ Court

The disassembly of the tower crane used for the renovation of the Budapest History Museum started on Thursday morning, June 17, 2021. The work is expected to be completed on Saturday, June 19.

Service outage on the morning of 21 June

We would like to inform you that on June 21, 2021 (Monday) between 8 am and 12 am, ELMŰ Network Ltd. will carry out maintenance work on the transformer station supplying our library. During this period there will be a power outage in the building of the NSZL and the remote access (internet access) will also be interrupted due to the power outage in the server room.
